To make sure I get the details right when designing the pub set (where the film begins) I have taken some photos which focus on some of the elements which suggest an English pub, such as the colour of the walls, the furniture, and decoration. My thanks to The Junction and The Falcon pubs for letting me post these photos.
My next move, in tandem with storyboarding, is creating a production still similar to the image below, but this time, instead of a flat image of the lead character, I will make up a model, light it and photograph it so as to give an idea of what the finished film will look like.
